Ever wondered what could possibly make an Africa Twin any better? We accessorised a brand new Honda Africa Twin with GIVI products and took a few photos of our efforts. Read on to see how we did it - we think the results speak for themselves!
Here's the before shot. It seems every man and his dog is buying an Africa Twin at the moment...
The Africa Twin doesn't have any location to fit bobbins for a rear stand, so we made our own. This proved to be such a handy idea, we may go into production. Watch this space.
Removing the exhaust system proved necessary. The Givi instructions are very good and exactly describe how to fit the Givi products. However, they don't explain how to remove parts from the bike to gain access. You need to study the Givi instructions to see which parts are missing and refer to the bike's handbook or workshop manual to see how to remove these items.

With some of the engine mounts being removed, we chocked the engine to be on the safe side.

It's important to pay close attention to the Givi instructions. They list every bolt, nut and washer and supply exactly the correct amount of each. We did the typical Kiwi thing and got it wrong a few times before checking the instructions.

The XS320 Tanklock bag has been designed specifically for the Africa Twin and fits perfectly.
The Ariflow windshield. The top part is height adjustable, or can be removed completely, which is a handy feature in tight bush.
The S902A accessory mount fits perfectly on the little bar, behind the windsheild.
The ES1144 Sidestand plate gives extra surface area for parking on soft ground.
All loaded up and ready to be delivered back to the showroom.
